Privacy policy

A starting point. Have it reviewed against the privacy law that applies to you before relying on it.

What we hold

• Account data — names, email addresses and roles of the staff using the system.
• Operational data — the customers, bookings, equipment and photographs you enter.
• Technical data — IP addresses and timestamps in the audit log, kept so "who released that deposit?" always has an answer.

Condition photographs

Photographs taken at collection and return are held against the specific unit and the specific hire. They exist to settle damage questions and are visible to the shop's staff and to the customer on that hire.

How long

Operational data is kept for as long as the account is open. Closing an account starts a deletion window; export anything you need first.

Your rights

Depending on where you are, you may have rights to access, correct, export or erase personal data. Requests go to the address on the contact page.

Analytics

Where analytics is enabled on this installation, it is configured to respect Do Not Track and to anonymise IP addresses.
